Digger Construction LLC is a veteran and family owned excavation contractor serving Rapid City, South Dakota and the surrounding Black Hills communities, including Hill City, Custer, Deadwood, Sturgis, Spearfish, Hot Springs, Black Hawk, Box Elder, Piedmont, and Summerset. We provide sewer line work, septic system installation and repair, retaining wall construction, snow removal, and lot clearing and grading.
We provide free estimates based on the information available at the time, including a site visit when applicable. Estimates are good-faith projections, not fixed contracts. Final pricing may change if site conditions, scope, soil, rock, permitting requirements, or other factors differ from what was known at the time of the estimate. Any change in scope or cost will be communicated to you.
We make every effort to perform work on the agreed schedule. Weather, ground conditions, permitting, utility locates, and other factors outside our control may affect timing, particularly for excavation and snow removal work. We will keep you informed of any changes.
Where permits and inspections are required, we work to complete the project in compliance with applicable local and state codes. The property owner is responsible for disclosing known underground utilities, easements, septic locations, and property lines.
We provide a warranty on our labor as described at the time of your project. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, acts of nature, ground movement beyond normal expectations, or work altered by others after completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and provided by the manufacturer.
Payment is due as agreed in your estimate or contract. We accept cash, check, and Venmo. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of work and applicable remedies under South Dakota law.
Digger Construction LLC is fully insured. Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota. Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate courts serving Pennington, Lawrence, or Meade County, as applicable.
